You Higuri (si pronuncia "yuu") e' nata il 16 ottobre ad Osaka.
E' una mangaka giapponese che ha collaborato a molti manga ed anime is ed e' apparsa a molte" manga conventions" negli Stati uniti ed altri paesi fuori dal Giappone.
La sua prima apparizione negli USA e' stata x il Yaoi-Con a San Francisco nel 2001.

E' conosciuta specialmente x i suoi disegni molto belli e fantasiosi, in special modo bellissimi ragazzi con storie d'amore ambientati in epoca e paesi diversi.

E' ancora giovane come mangaka dato ke il suo debutto e' stato solo nel 1993.
E' stata influenzata da vari artisti come Osamu Tezuka, Hayao Miyazaki, and the Showa 24 generation of women manga artists lead by Moto Hagio che creo' una storia di ragazze in chiave comica negli anni 70 .
Higuri attualmente vive a Takarazuka City ( Osaka.)
